Andy E. Kelleher is a specialist in the U.S. Army, assigned to the Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps, the legal arm of the military. He is currently serving in Korea. He plans to pursue a career in law, while continuing to write.

Born in Mt. Shasta, California, Andy was raised in Port Townsend, Washington. His father is a California wildland firefighter; his mother has a career in retail lumber sales. Andy considers his two brothers the best men and friends a kid could have had as role models, as he was growing up in the Northwest.

Andy spent three years writing Kalisandroes and the Villain King. He is currently planning the next Kalisandroes novel.
